ELEVATE YOUR LOOK BY LOOKING TO THESE CELEBS FOR INSPIRATION

INSTAGRAM IS LIKE AN ENDLESS BOOK OF STYLE INSPIRATION AND ‘HOW TO’S’. SOCIAL MEDIA, IN GENERAL, HAS MADE FASHION THAT MUCH MORE ACCESSIBLE

Celebrities put a whole lot of time, money, and effort into their wardrobes and hire stylists to keep them up to date with the latest trends. Basically, they have done all the work for us.

Below are 5 ways to up your fashion game:

1 The Statement Belt

The ever so bold, garish belts of the early 2000s had become a distant memory and belts had become an afterthought. Enter the Gucci Double G Logo Belt in 2017. Belts quickly became the must-have accessory again and the wearer became more ingenious in their styling.

Transform your maxi or blazer dress by simply synching in the waist with either a statement belt or something more inconspicuous. Look to this season’s biggest trends like fringing or chain hardware when purchasing your new belt.

2 Make up to (Un)Match

When wearing a clothing item in a single hue, elevate your look with lipstick in a contrasting shade. Bigger is better and 2021 is all about strong, exaggerated shoulders and bold necklines. The pussy bow has emerged again, much to my delight.

3 Layer Up

Transform your monochromatic look or bare neckline by layering your chains. For extra impact, look to necklaces of different textures and fabrications.

4 Stack Attack

Dorit Kemsley knows how to put a look together and I could live in this one. Stack your belts over a neutral blazer. Opt for a trio of skinny belts for a different take on the look.

5 Big for your boots

if your outfit is looking a little too ‘top heavy’ and your ratios look off then pair your favorite mini with this season’s must-have knee-length boots.
